I have found this trick particularly helpful when i go jogging and get a sharp cramp in my side. Whether it is caused by an insufficient warm up, too much water, or whatever the reason.. You simply tighten your stomach muscles, or suck in your stomach, as you jog and hold in your stomach for several seconds or as long as a few minutes. This never fails to cure my stomach pains.
