(a lunchtime email argument)
Jenn: How would you feel about the rest of the "gang" going to pizza hut with us?
Casey: Since I'm such a nice guy, I don't mind... but I won't say how I really feel.
J: Would you rather it just be me n you?
C: Eh. I don't know. All I know is that I'm hungry. The more people we take, the more hungry I'll be because more food will be consumed by... well... not me. Plus there will be other people there doing the same thing... and I won't get my money's worth, and I'll get upset. ...I guess they can go... I'm just freaking hungry.
J: Chill out, it'll just be me n you, unless they show up, which I don't think they will. It's okay. Calm down.
C: You told them I said no... didn't you.
J: No, I haven't told them anything. All I said was, "Casey and I are going to get pizza." I never said, "And you can come, too." But if they show up, we can't stop them. You know?
C: Soooooo... why did you even have to ask me?
J: Just to see what you'd say.
C: It wouldn't have mattered what I said...
J: You are too funny. :)
C: Funny... I wasn't trying to be.
J: You're not upset, are you?
C: I guess not.
J: Casey... don't be mad...
C: Are we leaving early?
J: sure
C: when
J: whenever
