I was frantically packing the night before a work trip in my very small manhattan apt. My roommate had left a glass shard sticking out of a box which was right outside my bedroom door. As I walked past it the glass edge caught my leg and dug a chunk out of my precious thigh. It hurt like a bitch and I bled all over the place.
