Advice to William at 18
1. Not everyone deserves your company. You deserve to be friends with people who appreciate you.
2. Do it. Even when you think you're being brave by not going, it's stupid and you'll miss out.
3. Don't do acid the second time. You go into psychosis and you knew everything you tell them you learned because of it already. Try to go your grandma's wedding even if you have to miss school.
4. You graduate, the classes mean so little compared to the people you meet in them. The ones that are worth a damn know this too.
5. Don't go to your car on your birthday, stay at the party.
6. Don't freak out about making movie's for other people. Make them for yourself. You'll waste so much time trying to figure out someone else's perspective. You end up doing it your own way anyway, you could've spent that time making it better.
7. Don't let them bully you into being his Production Designer. You'll end up crying in the bathroom while they talk crap about you. Only work for people you love.
8. Don't lose yourself because of him. You'll say you were bittered and it'll be true. Keep thinking of the world as you do. You'll find it harder to see it that way when you let it fester. You'll forget too much.
9. Don't do it in april. You end up not wanting to ever do it again. Just masturbate more.
10. Love yourself when you think no one else does. You'll miss out on some good times. Make that picnic happen.
