Advice To David Wang, age 20
1. Try talking to your father more. You have never really been close to your father and your relationship will never really flourish if you don't take the initiative. Your father has gone through a lot and has seen a lot in his life. You could learn a lot about his experiences growing up.
2. Tell your mother how much you love her and that you are sorry for all the times you made her cry. It's a weird request but in case things do not change for the better, you will feel better knowing that you told your mother this.
3. The next time you talk to your mother, ask her to see a doctor. Ask her if she is feeling okay. If she has been feeling pain in her stomach, tell her to see a doctor right away. Tell your mother to not put this off. It is not just a stomach ache or indigestion.
4. Beg, plead, urge your mother to see a doctor right away. Perhaps I should not tell you why your mother needs to see a doctor right away. If she does see a doctor and gets the proper diagnosis, you will never have to see your mother wither away and die from colon cancer. She will get the treatment while there is still time to help her.
5. Try and make more friends. Be more open with people. You will not be so lonely in the future if you do so.
