Advice to myself at age 6:
1) Learn how to play the guitar Grandmother gave you, it will be a good head start on the love of your life.
Advice to myself at age 10:
1) Don't quit your piano lessons, later on in life you'll be kicked out of an amazing band because you weren't good enough at piano.
Advice to myself at age 14:
1) Don't date Jen.
2) Don't listen to Limp Bizkit/Korn just because Wendy likes them. They're both crap.
3) Don't turn off the episode of SNL that Radiohead was on. You're an idiot for doing this.
4) Don't draw Nazi symbols on your sisters forehead in permanent marker.
5) Don't spike your hair and wear ripped up clothes, you're fine the way you are.
6) Don't have oral sex on halloween.
Advice to myself at age 16:
1) Show Cortney you love her by doing nice things for her. Don't tell her- it will only freak her out.
2) Talk to Holly a lot more, keep her as close as you can, she's the most beautiful person you'll ever know.
Advice to myself at age 17:
1) Treasure the night that you first kiss Cortney. It will be one of the most amazing memories you will ever have.
2) Write more positive poems.
3) Watch Magnolia... a lot. When you get older you'll no longer have time for this movie.
4) Don't cut yourself... it's not worth it.
Advice to myself at age 18:
1) When Cortney cheats on you with David don't write him a letter in blood.
2) Go to church more.
3) Don't let Noah get so distant, you'll end up missing him a lot in the future.
4) Start taking piano lessons, you don't want to get kicked out of Aida for not being good enough.
5) Run off with Morgan and get married! It's your only chance and you're going to miss it and life will be hell because of it.
Advice to myself at age 19:
1) Naomi is a wonderful girl but she's taken... don't let her use you like this.
2) Don't freak out when you get kicked out of Aida, realize that some day you will have your own band and they won't even be a band anymore. Some of their members will even quit to play with you when they hear you play guitar and sing.
3) Don't break up with Danielle.
4) Don't go to college and don't cook in restaurants... neither of those are for you.
Advice to myself at Age 20:
1) Don't lose your virginity to Ashley... wait until you are married for that. When Ashley decides that you don't make her happy anymore it will completely ruin your life. Don't even kiss Ashley, the 1 1/2 year relationship is a complete waste of time and in the end it will just make you feel like a waste.
Advice to myself at age 22:
1) You need to tour and do great things with music, stop messing around with all these girls!!!
2) Don't get drunk when Ashley breaks your heart.
3) Talk to everyone you can, you will need all the friends you can get to survive the rest of this age.
