Advice to Miss Thompson at 22:
.) Interact with your family in a more positive way. Your mom is a nice woman and she just thinks maybe your hair would look better the Other Way. Also, Grampie doesn't understand that it creeps you out when he talks about younger women in a romantic way. Don't give him a hard time about it even when he calls them "foxy" or tells them they have "a husky, sexy voice" over the telephone.
.) Make a list of the books you've been reading because you'll forget what you read and when people ask you to suggest something you'll just end up suggesting the last book you read even if you didn't like it especially.
.) Don't beat yourself up over not forming more personal relationships with your college advisors.
.) Even when people tell you expensive jeans are really cool and you don't look awesome in the cheap ones you're wearing don't buy any. You'll feel stupid about it.
.) Eat all the food you want. Especially cakes and chips and dip. You really like those things so you should just go ahead and eat a ton of them without feeling sort of bad about it. Especially when you work at the family bakery because you know it'll have to close someday and you'll regret all that time you were vegan and could have been eating Grampy's chocolate chip cookies and buttercake and cream doughnuts.
.) But make sure to eat more raw leafy greens. They don't taste too bad and the texture is something you can get over.
.) Kissing someone won't make you attracted to them if you aren't already. So, don't do that because you're going to feel like a bit of a slut if you do.
