Advice to Zachary D. Ryan at age 18
Hey man, I just wanted to let you know that school will be fine. Don't stress over trying to fit in with anybody, being yourself is not only easier, but far more rewarding. Melinda is the girl for you, so don't question it, by the end of the summer you'll know. Stay away from the speech team, its a waste of time and will only get you into trouble. And don't do drugs, no matter how cool they seem, everything Dad told you is true. They are for losers and it will take you too long to figure that out if you are on them. Take it easy.
