Advice for to Derien at age 14
-Make sure that during your ninth grade year you at least to attempt to do your work in your classes. Of course you will pass either way but it really makes it easier your senior year.
Advice to Derien at age 15
-Your teachers this year are crazy so make sure you learn how to have self-control. Don't curse them out or try to make their life a living hell. Try to get at least an S in conduct maybe even an E. Hey it could be well worth it.
Advice to Derien at age 16
-GUURRLL Please do not take Sgt. Webb's class. You will HATE him. OMG he is so lame. Trust me he Will be the reason why you don't take ROTC in the 12th grade. His class will be extremely boring and you will dread going everyday.
Advice to 17 year old Derien
-Don't drag your favorite teacher across the gym floor during the pep rally and embarrass her by making her hoola hoop. Just because she looks like she can hoola hoop doesn't mean she can do it for real. This will make her hate you for the rest of your life and it will ruin a perfectly good recommendation for anything you want achieve in the future. Unfortunately she will have the last laugh and she will make your last year a living hell.
