Advice to Jennifer, age 18 to 22
1. Don't try crystal meth or ecstasy. You will like them, do them a lot and end up having memory problems. You will also end up on anti-anxiety medication and never be able to be social in the same carefree, outgoing way that you are now. You will continually doubt yourself because the drugs have made you forget who you are.
2. Don't try to save everyone. You can't save Nicki or Eddie, or anyone else. They have to want to do it themselves.
3. Don't forget your value. You don't need to prove it to anyone, just yourself.
4. Treat yourself and your body with more respect. Don't sleep with anyone, at all. Just wait until you are stable.
5. Stop carrying everything you own in your purse, just make sure that you come home every night. That way you don't need to carry 3 days worth of underwear and end up sleeping in a different state with people who's names you don't remember.
6. Move out of the house on Washington Ave. or better yet, just don't move in. Tim will end up thinking you're evil anyway and because you stayed there, you'll believe him.
7. Stay friends with Eddie, he will always be there for you.
8. Go to class and try to get the most out of it.
