Advice to Laura Mooney at Seventeen
1) Wear your retainer more often; your teeth will eventually shift from their perfect positioning.
2) Don't try to be friends with Mckenzie, she's not a friend at all, she's a lying backstabber, and it's not worth your time.
3) When you break up with JR, don't go back out with him after a couple weeks, he will lie to you, cheat on you, become addicted to drugs and propose to you. You will have to make one of the hardest decisions of your life and it will put you through hell, you'll eventually find someone a hell of a lot better!
4) Don't compare yourself to other people, it will continue to make your self esteem go down, you will be very unhappy.
5) Take ballet more seriously, I know you hate it, but it will help you in college!
6) Stop dying your hair blonde! Your going to change it back to brown soon enough, but in the mean time...it doesn't look good at all!!
7) Apply for more scholarships, you can probably get a lot more then your applying for.
8) Move out when you have the chance. Your going to get stuck where you are for a few years and struggle with it.
