To me age 10:
1. His friendship is the only thing that keeps you feeling safe after their divorce. So stay friends.
2. Stop acting out in school, being the "funny kid" and the "bully" never made anyone respect you more.
3. Pay attention in English and Math. You will never grasp the concept of division until you are too old to use it and your english will never be good unless you start listening now.
4. Stop crying. You will get sick and be hospitalized with the weirdest sickness in the world if you don't. Don't be afraid of needles, THEY WILL MAKE YOU BETTER, you WILL die if you lock the other door.
5. Hug your mom and apologize for EVERYTHING.
6. Nick is a good friend. Just because he smells, is poor, and nobody else likes him doesn't give you reason to be mean to him. The most memorable years of your childhood will be with him.
7. Joe will be alright, realize he is going through everything you went through except more violently, hang out with him at the coffee shop. Dave will become your favorite sibling hang out with him more often.
8. The more you draw the better you will feel. Remember that.
To me age 15:
1. Your have a great relationship / friendship with your mom, it will be the hardest one to lose.
2. Stay in Karate it will teach you how to set goals and how to become successful, you will become one of the most talented fighters in minnesota.
3. Call your dad. He loves you, you love him, make it a daily relationship instead of a annual one.
4. Stop exaggerating, in the future friends will trust you less because of it.
To me age 17:
1. Hang out with Jake more, when they break up he will feel lonely and you will regret neglecting him.
2. You need to introduce Tony to some good friends when you leave, he will become the smartest drug addict you know and then knew.
3. Anouar is an amazing person, he leads you to make the most positive life changing choice you will make. Enjoy every day he is in America.
4. Go to thailand. For the rest of your life you will be happy you did, plus you will get into the best college in the US because of it.
5. Think about what you are going to do right before you leave and then don't. She will feel really hurt and you will feel like a jackass.
To me age 18:
1. Stop smoking pot. Yeah it makes you draw crazy shit but your relationship with your family will suffer from it.
2. You met her. Isn't she amazing. Love her, you will for the rest of your lives.
3. Stop wasting time, your talents are nothing if you don't use them more often.
4. Hug your mom and apologize for EVERYTHING, again.
To me age 20:
1. Realize why you are so lucky to have this life.
2. Work hard on your portfolio, your future family will be glad that you didn't slack off like your college friends.
3. Create a personal relationship with your grandma, so far I have yet to.
4. Stop worrying about what others think about your work and just create.
