Advice to Jane at age 22:
1) Visit Marshall Ross in the hospital. It would make him so happy to see you. Your fear of the awkwardness and fear of mental illness scared you from something great. It would have been a small gesture with infinite payoffs.
2) Don't be afraid of your boss. She is not better than you, or more talented, just because she has a higher title.
3) Do not lock the keys of the apartment your cat sitting in inside the apartment. Or, at least make sure to clean up and take the "Guide to getting it on" off the kitchen each time you leave the house (lest you lock yourself out).
4) Spend more time in Baltimore before your graduated college. There was no need to rush, you'll spend the rest of your life in New York City.
5) Don't forget how much it hurts to be broken up with. Don't be callous with other people's hearts.
