Advice to Trina Merry at Nineteen
1. The doctors are wrong, just like you think. Fork over the bucks for a second opinion.
2. Do NOT waste your time with Shaunt. Stop flying up there every other weekend and spending four + hours every night talking to him. You'll only feel scared and suffocated by every relationship after him
3. Kick Jeff out now before he hurts Sarah.
4. Avoid Ryan like the deadly disease he is- he will only fuck things up and use you.
5. Hang out with Nick more in New Orleans. Go to that punk show with him instead of that lame club with Ryan- you'll save time looking for him later and have way more fun. I know you're into black now, but, he'll be into it later.
6. Branch out from Anne and Missy- they'll never talk to you again when they're married. You won't even have a Christmas card friendship!
7. Definitely spend more time with the dweeby music kids you love- mutual interests go a long way.
8. Take more art classes- in fact, change majors all together. Trust your instincts!
9. Get a car- there's more to LA than Azusa- you'll be less depressed.
10. Stop rejecting your femininity in the name of feminism. Embrace it and use your powers for good!
