Advice to Melissa at Age 16 (1997)
1. You need to eat more and exercise less. You're 105 pounds..you are NOT FAT. You're going to have medical problems because of this.
2. Don't listen to your mother. Have that baby or you will cry for him or her for the rest of your life. There's safe places for pregnant teens even if she kicks you out.
3. Tell Bobby how you really feel. He's going to move away and you won't talk to him for years.
4. Have fun and stop worrying so much about your family. Tell your mother she needs to step up and stop making you be the parent to her and your brother!
5. Make sure Jimmy and Jhmil know how much you care about them and value their friendship. They'll both be shot and killed in 2004.
