ADVICE TO MYSELF AT ALL AGES:
1. please know that you are incredibly bright and talented. Dont let your environment convince you otherwise.
ADVICE FOR 4 TO 12:
2. tell you parents that you want them to stop doing drugs.
3. dont try to be the neighbor dogs friend. He will bite you and then you will have to get shots.
4. dont get into the car with your aunts drunken friends. they crash and it is very traumatizing.
5. ask your mom for healthier foods than she is providing.
ADVICE FOR 14 TO 18
6. dont do cocaine.
7. dont do acid.
8. dont give up on your education. remember, you are smarter than you think you are. You could really excell at this academia thing if you just focus and stop smoking so much pot.
9. tell you mom if she doesnt get her shit together, you wont see her anymore.
(wait, I think you do that around 16 or so.)
ADVICE FOR 19 TO 30
10. learn to be more loving, forgiving and open. As an adult, you learn that this is the key to having good thingshappen in your life.....start now! Dont wait until your 40!
11. dont let that anxiety and depression bullshit grab ahold of you. dont even get on that train,it's neverending and you are much stronger than you think. you can do it....you'll be okay.
12. Lani is going to get killed....tell her you love her and ask her if she needs help.
13. tell K.c. that you like him and would he like to go on a walk.....maybe you could teach him how to be open and to love and then he wont kill himself.
14. stay in your band and ride the big seattle-cash-out wave and then quit.
15. dont get the abortion.
16. practice guitar more and piano. oh, and paint all of the time to
17. take control of your sons birth and tell the doctors to back WAY off.
18. or just accept that everything that has happened in your life has brought you to this point and that you are an exceptional woman with a warm heart, a bright mind, and a brilliant spirit... this challenging and tumultuous life has created you and I love you dearly, just as you are.
