Advice to Meghan Lounsbury at fifteen
1. Listening to punk rock is only limiting yourself to all the beautiful music that exists out there. Don't let it.
2. Spend more time caring for the needs of Ryan Thirkhill and Matthew Verschoor. They're both going to kill themselves.
3. Even though she is nice stay away from Ashley or she'll just get you into a world of trouble.
4. Amber is not your friend, she is just using you. Drop her now.
5. Don't let your mother call you overweight. Let her know that you're happy with your current size and stature. Even if you aren't.
6. Hang onto to Joshua Pickering. You'll regret it when he wont speak to you anymore.
7. STOP SMOKING. I don't care how cool it looks, it's going to prevent you from having a better future.
8. 75% of the people who say nice things to youÊwill critisize you behind your back.
9. Ignore Laila by all costs. She's not worth being annoyed with. Let her live with the illusion that she is good at what she does.
10. Keep writing songs and don't get out of the habit of doing so.
11. Your schoolwork needs to be done. That bullshit about not having time to do it is not going to compare to when you're going to school full time and working full time.
12. Mooch off your parents while you can. You'll miss it when they're not around to feed you anymore.
13. Always watch, never get invovled unless its something important to your character and artistic development.
