Advice to Clara Louise at 12 Years Old.
1) Don't go so fast running around time. All this rushing about ignoring your school and biking off down into the back bay is just going to slow you down. Grow slow- make sure you help kaylen and keep her in the warm arms of your family. Hers does'nt seem to notice what she needs right now.
2) It is really important to not worry about your dad, don't think the reason why he wont change is because he doesn't love you enough to he just can't. also stay away from nick larzalere- he is one of the first truly selfish people you will meet who will validate your urges to push people away
3) Go surfing as often as kaylen's dad offers to drive.
4) Don't only put up posters in your room, make two solid walls of photos of your family. And leave a wall open for future pictures
5) Get a big thing to hold all of your cds in. don't be lazy about it it will end up saving you lots of money.
6) Stay a tom boy
7) Don't give away all of your art, keep some of it for portfolios and proof you can finish things.
Let your sister hang out with you and your friends and don't kick her out of your room. She only goes in there because she wants to know everything about what you do.
