Advice to Lisa at age fourteen:
1. don't de-virginize yourself with tommy: you'll realize he's cheating on you when he gives you the crabs.
2. try not to wear so much make-up and don't blow dry your hair straight: it will be much easier if you can figure out a way to be satisfied with your natural appearance
3. keep in touch with that guy kurt from outward bound, he is cute and sweet and will probably be a great guy when he grows up
4. don't tell everyone in gym class you would kill yourself if you looked like that one girl: it's not nice, it's going to get back to her and she is actually a really nice person
5. do not give your little brother that 1/2 hit of acid and then leave him home alone: you are going to feel guilty about it later in life, even tho he will forgive you
