A short List of Advice to Linds at age 17:
1. the scars will never go away. people will always ask you about them and it will hurt. you won't know what to say and your eyes will well up with tears. maybe you should go running instead of hiding in your closet with a razor.
2. he's not good enough for you and you know it. He doesn't know how to spell "does" and that is really ridiculous. why are you wasting your time when you know who is the right one. and you should be more fair to that person, because you really do know right/wrong and you know what love is and you know you are being stupid.
3. you don't have to burn so bright. you don't want to burn out by the time you are my age.
