1. Sleep with Ryan at his house that day. The experience will do you some good.
2. Look at the colleges you like and apply! Politely tell your parents that although you love them, you are going away to college.
3. Eat a decent meal and do something fun rather than exercising all the time.
4. Know that you are pretty, smart, and not abnormal at all. Avoid the catty girls who make you feel inadequate.
Advice To Leslie at 18
1. When you are standing in that parking lot with your freshman roommate and she asks you if you've ever kissed a girl, smile and flirt. Kiss her in the sunlight. It will provide an experience that you can smile about, and it will save you from many hurtful mistakes in the future. You are gonna be best friends with her forever regardless.
2. Change your major to something you love.
3. Relax.
4. Talk to your boyfriend and tell him that you are in love with him, but you need space and time. You are soul mates. Taking this short breather now could salvage this beautiful relationship.
Advice To Leslie at 24
1. Do not, repeat, do not drink that whiskey leftover from Halloween.
2. Stay home that night.
3. When Dan gets home, ask him all about his show. Kiss him and tell him the reasons you love him. Make love with the Christmas lights on. Afterward, snuggle in bed together and plan your cross-country move together.
4. Throw away your credit cards before you ever use them.
Advice To Leslie at 28
1. Forgive yourself. He did.
2. Drink red wine with your friends all the time, but throw in some exercise and sleep too.
3. Jump on Erica's trampoline and smell the herbs in her garden.
4. Tell your friends and family that you love them.
5. Make a list of your goals and get to work! Hold on for the time being. You are exhausted right now, but don't let the doubts take over. Remember all the times you have wanted something so completely, and stay focused. You have a great life that is just going to get better. You are loved.
