To Judy at 8:
1. Learn piano. Sure, violin is fun now, but later on, you'll wish you played piano. Believe me, if you start now, you could be really good at something (for once).
2. Keep reading. It's good
3. I know English is more fun, but pay more attention in math, it's more useful.
4. Even though you're not very good, take some dance classes or play soccer or something. Even though you hate sports right now, you should get more active. Try to eat more fruits and veggies and drink you're milk. You wouldn't want to be short forever, would you?
5. Learn a language! Try French, you'd be good at it. I know you take Hebrew, but *honestly* that's not very useful. If you start learning now, you'll be really good later and you'll have lot's more opportunities.
6. Don't hit your sister. When she's older, she will be able to hit you back. Much harder.
7. If people pick on you, don't just ignore them. Stand up for yourself. I know it's hard right now,Ębut in the end it will make you stronger. Remember that.
8. Make friends with you're older siblings. You won't see them much when they move away and it would be nice if you knew them better. They're good people.
To Judy at 13:
1. You're about to go to high school, get ready. I promise you it won't be as easy as you think. Read more now, it will help you later.
2. I know that math is boring but you need to learn it. If you don't start paying attention in you're math class and stop talking to your friends and copying Sam's tests, you are going to have a terrible time next year, and though out all of you're high school years.
3. Get into the habit of doing your homework. In high school you can't just tell Mr. P that you gave him you're homework already, he must've just lost it. You'll fail if you don't.
4. Don't worry. Senor Correll is terrible, but he will resign soon anyway. Beware of him, because he is a pervert, but if you just stay away from him and talk to your friends in this class instead of math, you can actually have fun.
5. About those "friends". Please start thinking before you talk when you're with them. Don't just say whatever stupid things pop into your head. No one cares about you're stupid little stories so just keep it to yourself. Try talking about them instead. If you don't you won't have any friends and life will suck.
6. You're bi. Accept it and tell people now and everything will be a lot easier for you in the future.
7. Drugs seem cool and exciting now, but they aren't. Really.
8. Be nice to your parents, they won't be around forever.
9. Be nice to your brother now, or he will hate you forever.
10. Don't cry so much. You need to grow up.
11. Try smiling sometimes...and really mean it.
12. You're smart. I know you don't believe it right now, but you really are. You need someone to tell you that.
