Advice to myself at 11 or 12 years:
01. Don't try to fight your older sister, she will only sit on you then squash you like a bug., afterward she will beat the tar out of you again and again.
02. Don't sing the song fatty and skinny went to bed fatty rolled over and skinny was dead while still sharing a room with your older sister. Refer to #1 for the reason why.
03. Don't try to ride your horse backwards. You will only end up doing a flying dive off and break your arm.
04. Don't tie up the boy from down the street to a tree and leave him there because he is a sissy boy. You will not be able to sit down for a week. He will tattle on you to his father and then there will be major trouble.
05. Don't play with matches!!!!!!!!! You should not try to set the paper bag in the trash can on fire. Your dad will walk in and then again you will not be able to sit down for a week.
06. Don't go out on New Years eve when you are 16 and drink. You will end up coming home early and your mom and dad will know. Enough said!!!!!
07. Don't fight with your younger sister. She never forgets and then gets bigger than you and gets revenge by trying to fold you in half stuff you in a dresser drawer and close it.
08. Don't lie to your dad when you come in late from a date. HE KNOWS YOU ARE LYING EVERY TIME!!!!!!!!
09. If you come home late and your older sister has locked you out, DON'T try to go thru the greenhouse. You will run into the glass door and shatter it and then your dad will know you are late.
10. Don't try to hide every belt in the house from your dad so you don't get a whipping. Remember he has one around his waist and he runs faster than you think when you try to run from him thinking he can't catch you.
11. Don't run away from home when you are 15. Your dad will come get you from across the street and put you in the mental hospital for 3 months.
12. Don't date and then marry the boy from Channelview. He will only beat you for 20 years.
13. If you do marry him anyway when you divorce him remember you can get through it with your dignity and you will be stronger for it.
14. Don't wait until you are 40 years old to go to college. Dad will pay for it when you get out of high school, take him up on it.
15. Don't ever stay mad at mom. She will not always be there for you like you think.
16. Don't think your parents are out to make your life miserable because of the rules they raise you by. You will only have to eat your words later on when you go back and thank them for raising you the way they did.
17. DON'T SMOKE!!!!!!!! Enough said.
18. Don't let your friends talk you into mudding in your jeep when you are a senior. It will cost you a fortune when you turn to sharply and flip it. You will also have to explain it to your mom and dad.
19. Don't try to turn around in the middle of Kennings Rd. You will have yourself a fun time trying to explain to your dad how you ended up backwards into a 7 foot ditch.
20. Last love your family always. Don't ever tell them you hate them. You will regret it later on and always tell them you love them.
