1. Don't be afraid to argue. If you keep letting him get away with it that is exactly what he will do. You need to stand up for yourself. He will be bitter. But don't avoid confrontation to try and keep him happy. He will use it as an opportunity to take advantage of you.
2. Try not to take everything he says to heart and plan too far into the future. He will lie to you.
3. I know you don't want to listen to what other people say about it but they may just be right. He isn't the guy you think he is. Don't hold on to him you deserve better your just yet to realise it.
4. Friends always come before guys. We all make mistakes. Don't judge her so strongly because you'll need each other later on.
5. Don't let anyone make you feel your dreams don't mean anything, success is the best form of revenge
