Simple, yet effective advice for Me at 19
1. I know you are bullheaded and take ample pride in that, but please allow David to walk you to your car at 10:30 at night instead of deciding to walk alone. I hate to be ominous and all, but something really bad is going to happen otherwise.
2. Stop giving yourself away just because you fell in love and he had to go away. He will come back next year, and you will be together, maybe even happily ever after.
3. Don't wear a constricting red velvet minidress and fishnets in 45 degree weather as you hang out on the streets. No amount of drugs will make you feel warm figuratively or literally.
4. Don't carry around a copy of The Satanist Bible cradled under your arm just to impress people. I know you subconsciously want people to think you are tough and sexy.
Epilogue - What more can I say? It could not have been any other way. I am sorry if I sounded unwarm. I am trying. I am learning to love you more.
