1) Do not have sex yet! It's too early and you're way too young. You won't get pregnant or even an STD, you just will feel like it slipped away and it wasn't even that special. You are not ready! You are TOO YOUNG!

1) Your parents are basically good people who love you. They are human and make lots of mistakes. They aren't trying to ruin your life, just save you from choices that they don't understand and that they think might be at best limiting for you or at worst dangerous.
2) That being said, they don't understand Dan, or whatÊ you are experiencing. Don't be so afraid of trying to explain it! It's ok to be in love. It doesn't have to be a secret, and it's ok that your family's approval is important to you.
3) That being said, don't invite him over on that snow day because mom will catch you havingÊ sex and after the ugliness that ensues your relationship won't be the same for many years.
4) Do some drugs. Find out that it's no big deal really, and get it out of your system before you go to college and really fuck yourself up.

1) Think really hard about breaking up with Dan. I don't know even now what might happen if you don't , but I'm still not sure 12 years later if it was the right thing to do.
2) Don't stop dancing. It's the only thing you've ever really loved and it's what you were meant to do. Go to NYC if you must, even to MMC, but go to dance.

1) DO NOT DATE BRENDEN.
2) Keep writing. Finish what you start.
3) Spend more time with your grandparents.
