Advice to myself at ages 5, 7, 14 and 21.
1. Don't steal that lemon from Auntie Vie's. Go in and have a cookie instead.
2. Be kind to Elizabeth. Be kind to everyone, even if they aren't to you.
3. Just wear your glasses. Your grades and headaches will improve and the teasing will continue no matter what anyway.
4. Go after Galen. He does like you, but will be mad when you decide to like Paul.
5. Spend as little time at home as possible. Your mom has problems and it isn't your fault. Your stomach aches are from her, not your advanced classes. Stay on the college track. You are smart.
6. Keep taking art and english. Fuck cheerleading. Dance is okay.
7. Don't do all those drugs. Those people are not very interesting sober. Plus, you'll mess up your metabolism for life.
8. Don't bang on the drum all night when Catherine comes to visit. It isn't nice and she won't want to be friends after.
9. Spend more time with Moose. Give him meat milkshakes and hugs.
10. Floss. Just fucking do it. Dentists suck and don't deserve your hard-earned money.
