Advice to Denise at age 5:
1. Stop thinking everything will be forever, love your family more than anything, cos once you discover how bad they can be, you'll may miss that love.

2. Believe me, even if there IS someone watching you, they won't catch you.

3. Try to trust people now, you still have no reasons for not. Don't bite your dad's cheek,he is not going to kill you and you may never forget it.
Age 8:
4. I know you think life can't be worse, but hey, these are your first troubles and I would advice you for welcoming them.
Age 10:
5. Read as much books as you can, and I'm not sure if it's a good advice, but if you keep on this way, you'll have by 15 a mind that your parents won't by 50, so, if don't want to get really gloomy and confused in three years, put the poetry away and go study some math, it we'll be useful someday.
Age 12:
6. Believe me, someone will in fact love you, and all the drama is only making you worse, let the depression with you only until there's nothing left to learn.
