Advice to Dave age 23
1. Stop making decisions based on fear. Move out of your folks house and go to San Diego if that's where you think you'll be happy.
2. Eat more. You are 10 lbs underweight and it looks terrible.
3. Take everything preachers say with a grain of salt, as well intentioned they may be. Some questions you may never know the answer to.
4. Stop at stop signs. You will destroy a second car that way this year.
5. Stop dreaming of Paris and just go. Air travel will always be weird for you, but it's not nearly as bad as you imagine.
6. Watch less TV and videos and spend more time practicing guitar and learning French. These are skills you will use in the future, but will always feel slighly less confident than you want to...so practice now!
7. Get rid of that blue blazer...it's not you.
8. You think it's just your business, but you need to stop lying to people you love about your sexualty. It really does matter.
9. Be less judgemental about people who disagree with you. You are alienating yourself from some really good folks that way.
10. Don't sell that '63 Fender Vibroverb amp! I don't care how much you think you need the money.
