Advice to Christina at 15:
1) Listen to your great-grandmother's stories. She holds a 100 years worth of unique wisdom. She will die this year and no one in your family will be able to remember the most important parts of her life.
2) Stop using hard drugs to get thin. You will become horribly addicted and damage one of the most important friendships of your lifetime. Plus, you will just gain all that weight back when you eventually quit.
3) Don't think that everyone in high school hates you. Years later, you will find out that most people really liked you, they were just too afraid to approach to you.
4) Smile more.
5) Do not let your own shyness and insecurities get in the way of talking to Nick. That feeling, as you will later realize, is love, and you will forever regret not talking to him.
