Advice for Adele; age 15:
1)It's okay to be queer. You won't live lonely with lots of cats wearing only elastic waistbands. In fact, you don't know it yet, but queer people are actually better looking, have more fun and better sex. You have a lot to look forward to. Hang in there.
2)Drop out of high school.
3)Start doing more guerilla sex ed, for yourself and others.
4)Learn to swim better.
5)Be nicer to your mom.
Advice for Adele; age 18:
1)Be nicer to your mom.
2)Don't get ugly tatoos.
3)Start eating some fucking dairy and get over your self-righteous lifestyle-politics. Ditch your carharts and start talking to and organizing with more people who don't wear them, have never worn them.
4)Condition your hair.
5)Don't hide your femme away.
7)Fail big. Fail hard. Fail beautifully. Fail humbly.

1)This is all you have.
2)You don't need to get a PAP today. Stay home and sew your friend some birthday-underwear.
3)Notice how well your body works and love it. Love it.
4)If you do go out, wear a bike helmet.
5)Start thinking about ways to hold a consiousness of disability in your politcs, subculture, lifestyle.
6)Buy a computer and learn video.
7)Go back to school.
8)Get ready to get really good at asking for and accepting help.
