Advice to C. at 17
1) Please just try to be with M. You don't know what he wants, but he might try. Never knowing is worse than the possibility of rejection. And three years later, you'll still love him, and you'll regret never trying.
2) I know everything seems awful, but stop being so bitter and angry about it. You'll waste years on frustration and wishing. Move on. It hurts less, and it's not as hard as it seems.
3) Hold onto what you want. Keep holding on. You won't lose it, but you might think about it.
