Governor's School
First night, dance on stage. Be a fool. You will on the last day
- During the fireworks, kiss Amy. I know you haven't grown out of the shy shell yet, but you have to start somewhere. Who knows, it may have worked out.
-Please learn as much as you can about art. I know you enjoyed being social for once, but don't forget what got you there in the first place. Get to know "Reggie" and paint your ass off. Blow them away.
-You don't know now, but Ryan and Sam are going to be the most important influences up to date. Only after you leave do you start to develop a huge friendship. Cherish it.
-DO NOT skip any entries in your journal. That week is going to be really difficult to remember. Also ,write more. You start off at about 3 pages a night, but you will end it with about 20 a night, Details.
Senior Year
-Not in a bathroom. You are more romantic than that. Make it special.
-Hang out with Sam every minute you can. He's suddenly moving to Virginia at the of the year.
College freshman
-DO NOT take anything for granite
-As much as I'd like to say that you shouldn't date CC, and that she'll only break your heart, it's best if you did get torn. I know it's going to hurt more than anything you've felt up to date, but I know that the confusion/fury/sadness will go away, Use this emotion as an example and the better person. If it really were something special, she wouldn't have so cold hearted and crushed you in the end.
-When she does cheat on you and then breaks up with you while visiting her, do not attempt to win her back. All you will get in that battle is a cold wall and no regrets from her. Do not let her feel that she is in control. Yes, that week is going to be hell, but you can get through it. Record all of those emotions in your sketchbook. That way, when you need the inspiration, you have all of the concept and structure to start.
-Also, the night she breaks up with you, do not decide to start bad habits. You are better than that.
