Age 12:
1. Let yourself fall in love with Steve Collins. It will hurt but the stories will be priceless.
2. Ride horses with Sherry in the Southwest. She will not be here much longer.
Age 16:
1. Fill David's dorm room, mailbox, e-mail inbox with candy and wishes. You'll miss him a little less knowing he can't avoid thinking about you.
2. Don't gush with joy when David tells you (Finally!) how cool you are. You already knew that.
Age 18-present:
1. Return e-mails and phone calls faster. Especially ones from mom.
Age 20:
1. Buy the love letter chandelier in Oslo. You'll still be thinking about it four years later.
Age 24:
1. Sleep less, dance more.
