Brie at age 17:
1. Don't date Brad. Don't even get involved with him. He ends up breaking your heart several times which eventually leads to low self-esteem and relationship issues. You now don't trust anyone enough to get close because of him. Don't loose your best friend from pre-school. You always worked things out and she was your closest friend to date. It is ok to have different friends in different groups. Don't be so shy. Get out and enjoy life. Don't work so hard at school. That is only one part of life. You missed out on your youth.
Brie at age 18:
2. Don't go to Truman. You end up breaking your arm, becoming severally depressed, and eventually suicidal. You ruined a lot of friendships and pushed people away. You wasted most of your college experience. Don't worry about your weight. You were fine and then you just ended up making things worse by loosing weight and just regaining it back. You now have issues with it later. Don't cover up your sister's drinking problem. It just gets worse.
Brie at age 19:
3. Don't have a boyfriend when you go study abroad in Florence. You end up crying and having a miserable time because of how he is treating you. Tell someone you are depressed and get help sooner before things worsen, which they did.
Brie at age 21:
4. Don't go work for that stupid rich camp. You become severally emotional and stressed out. It made your summer awful for hardly any pay and the other counselors were drama whores. You missed out on friends at home.
Brie at age 22:
5. Don't date Justin. Stick to your instincts and continue to say no if you mean no. Don't move out of your apartment in lakeview and into an apartment with a friend. She ends up doing none of the work and you clean and paint 80 percent of the place. You feel unsafe in the neighborhood, are too far from the lake to run, and start hating your friend and becoming frustrated. Don't do the co-op at the community place. Go with the printmaking internship instead, even if it doesn't pay. Don't avoid confrontation. Don't sit here and mope about your life and let depression take over. Get out and do something about it.
