Advice to Audrey age 11
1. Don't go play doctor in the abandoned foundation of that building. Your parents will not handle it right and you'll be shamed for years.
2. Go get cool clothes and change on the way to school. You'll never convince your father to let you dress normally, and if you disobey them now, you'll be much more confident later.
Advice to Audrey Age 13
1. Kick B.B.'s ass when she attacks you in the hall. You'll get detention, but you'll change the way you deal with bullies for the rest of your life.
2. You don't realize it yet, but art is your life.
Advice to Audrey Age 16
1. I know you really want to be popular, but you'll be much happier if you learn how to do things well. Focus on art, writing, music, theater and... Play with everything...grow... for God's SAKE don't blow off Trig to go make out with D.M. on the hill. Be good at math.
Advice to Audrey age 17
1. Don't let your parents rope you into the wrong college. You want to go to a good art school... even if you have to take out megaloans. Don't get married during college, wherever you go.
2. Spend a year as an exchange student. You need to get out more.
Advice to Audrey age 26
1. The big boss at the Intrepid Museum will feel you up at a party and you'll object. He'll fire you a week later. Sue him, believe me... you've got a good case.
2. Look for freelance work and don't go into teaching. Yes, you'll be good at it, but there's time to give back later. This is the time to learn to be good at something. Don't sell your talent so short.
