Advice to AMB at age 18 (through 22).
1. Don't get married after only 4 months of dating. While mr. right might still be mr. right, he may need to change before you let him get set in his ways. Granted not many guys change, however you need to state your gournds and take firm action.
2. Make sure what you want to sacrafice is not because of someone else but because of your own decisions. Like moving to a rural town for Mr. Right. Make sure that you clarify your objectives (finish school, have a career, be a homemaker). Remember that even though you think you are mature, you're really not. Graduating a year early from highschool only adds a year of education on you. NOT life experience. And certainly not enough to get married.
3. Don't live with your in-laws no matter how much money you can save.
4. Build a house and sell it before building a house on your only inherited land.
5. Then you won't get screwed over by your contractor, or your house plans.
6. And, spend more time playing with baby Dave. You know he hates the computer and really just wants a fun mommy.
7. Be careful about what you say to people. It can get twisted and ugly in so many ways (like when talking to Mr. Right or Wrong).
