Advice to Adrienne at nineteen:
1. Put all of your efforts into the things you know are real and rewording like work and school. Don't waste your time on insignificant relationships.
2. Keep Jeff as a good friend rather than a boyfriend. It will save him a lot of heart ache and you a good friend.
3. Save some of that beer money and put it in an IRA.
4. Recycle everything that you can.
5. Maybe before you start breaking these poor guys' hears, do some soul searching and find out who you really are. Explore your own sexuality and don't be ashamed.
6. Talk to everyone, be friendly and receptive. Listen. You will learn a lot about everyone else as well as your self.
7. Use all of those college resources. Go to extra curricular lectures, galleries and exhibitions. It's free!
8. Tell Stephanie to quit the act
9. Tell andrea she is an amazing person and should stop listening to Stephaie.
10. Call Ashley and tell her to come visit. Maybe you can stall her from "The American Dream" so she can enjoy being young.
11. Look for a job that will benefit you.
12. Ask Shelly if you can be her assistant
13. Don't drive your car so much. Walk, bike, run and use public transportation. You will learn so much!
14. Be cordial and honest with Justin. He's not that bad.
