I'd like my organs donated if possible. I would then like to be cremated. I'd prefer a big party to a memorial: I'd like lots of colorful flowers, music, alcohol and food. I want everyone to laugh, eat and share stories and happy memories. the focus should be on celebrating my life not mourning my death. Remember how much I loved all of you.
As for my ashes I'd really really prefer that they be scattered somewhere. I don't like the idea of sitting in a jar somewhere. There is no need to hold on to my remains to keep me close- that's what memories are for. I like the idea of my ashes being scattered in a forest (maybe in the redwoods?) or by a river or lake. If you really and truly want to keep my remains close scatter them in a garden so I can help make beautiful things grow.
