I am not a well studied astronomer, so I'm not sure if this is just fiction. At the end of "Kaleidoscope," that beautifully written story by Ray Bradbury, that is how I want to die: to become the wish of another. If you are planning on reading the story, do not keep reading. I wish to be taken up into space and have my body thrown back down at Earth, so it will burn up in the atmosphere as if it were a shooting star, and be seen by a small boy and his mother, and for the boy to make a wish, and for that wish to come true.
