1. February 16, 1984 - My sister was born. My father and mother knew I would not accept anything other than a sister, her name is Pauloma, a "unique" spelling of Paloma, which means dove in Spanish.
2. The neighbor's cat had kittens. I picked an orange and white male and named him Booboo.
3. Colombia: Visited my aunts (tias), grandmother (abuela) and cousins (primos) for two weeks.
4. My father built me a puppet theater: It was made out of a cardboard box the new refrigerator arrived in, we painted it mostly lavender and pink, then my mom made puppets and we put on "There's no such thing as a Dragon."
5. I watched a TV special on Ronald Reagan. My father and mother were horrified when I told them I liked Reagan, he was my idol because I wanted to be a movie actor and then become President too - I have since changed my mind on Reagan and my career goals.
