I received this scar when I was seven years old, and is truly the only scar that I posses that you can see. I was at my school, and was playing on the playground when I needed to cross the parking lot to use the bathroom. I ran across the lot to the schoolhouse, missed my leap over the parking bumps. The toes of my left shoe caught the cement bump and pulled my feat out from under me. I skipped across the asphalt on my left knee. I sat myself up and held my knee in my hand curious as to why no blood was present. I reached into the wound with my right index finger and touched the white substance. It moved slightly at the touch and then came the blood. It bled profusely, and I was actually scared, although I did not shed a tear. I limped to the nurse's office where she applied a butterfly Band-Aid, and sent me on my way. I didn't get stitches, though now I think I probably should have.
