On my waist, just above my left hip, I have this small scar that for years I have been trying to convince girlfriends was the result of a fish having bitten me while I was at a Boy Scout camp in Goshen, Virginia. The girls have always laughed at me for telling this story. But to be honest, after all of these years, I'm no longer certain that my story is true either.
