This is my bisected abdomen. I was born with muddled up insides (the medical term is Volvulus) and they had to operate on me when I was just 3 days old. The scar grew with me, which reminds me how even though your cells are constantly being replaced, your body stays with pretty much the same pattern. Because I was so little when I had the operation, they stiched through my skin and fat together, which is why I have such a crease. I can still count the marks from sixteen or seventeen stiches.
  
As an extra bonus in the picture you can see a scar on my hand that my cat gave me, because the toys she likes best are human hands and feet.
